I found it convenient to purchase a bip! card, which made using public transportation hassle-free, as I could easily check-in and check-out with just a tap.

To minimize the risk, I made sure not to flaunt valuable items and kept important documents and valuables secured in the lockers provided by my accommodation. By taking these precautions, I felt more confident and at ease during my time in Medellín.

I packed a light jacket or sweater for the cooler evenings, especially when venturing out to higher elevations where the temperature can drop slightly.
